tidbits.

  • i cannot fall asleep without my fan on.
  • i have counted 10 pairs of running shoes in the back seat of my car. this is significantly less pairs than found in my apartment, my cubicle, and my trunk. [ i donate all used shoes ].
  • i am in an intense love affair with sweet potato fries right now. we should probably break up.
  • i judged the reputability of my new eye doctor when i called and 1) he answered his own phone 2) he had ample availability the following day. i was way off. he was the man.
  • my browns are now equally nearsighted. - 4.25. yes, you may gasp at the number, but this means i no longer have to panic the left eye is in the right and the right eye is in the left.
  • my bikram yoga instructor wanted to call me out to compliment me on certain form, and did so by saying, "my friend with the dislocating shoulder - what was your name?" (they have me flagged in the system, nobody wants to see a socket go terribly awry on a nice little saturday).
  • i thought my roommate was in the family room and as i walked to my bedroom and encountered a silhouette unloading the dryer i froze, nearly choked on a pretzel, and found myself with my hands up. conclusion: this reaction doesn't bode well, and i need to stop watching Law & Order SVU (but i've been saying that for 5 years).
  • the neighbors of my friend brian have a dog who loves to aggressively sniff right between the legs. yes, that's right. they even warned me, and before i knew it, there was the dog.
  • i wore headgear ONE night, and one night only in the 7th grade. i simply wanted my readers to know that because this blog isn't turning out like i wanted.
so the weekend is over. i can actually say i had a good weekend. interesting stuff. fun stuff. friend stuff. lazy stuff. just how a weekend should be. i hung out sunday with my friends brian and keith, and while we all work in "the industry" for competitive brands, the silliness of brands not being friends with each other isn't anything we abide by. (there are certain ones out there, "elitist" if you will of their logo and thus the posse they must hang with). anyway, while the shoes pictured below are none of our running shoes, the boys were making fun of me because i did just adore this little shot of these respectively sweet kicks. my 7.5's hangin with my friends. the N, the swoosh, and the Vector.

  1. a.1.a. no SVU or CSI or L&O for KMills. give me three minutes in the dark with my creative mind and the sound of a door opening and i'd have written an entire season for all three shows!

b.2.b. i'm so glad you didn't choke: does P-rizzle even know the heimlich maneuver?!

c.3.c. your shoes win (not that i am voting)! love the gray on gray and clever pink bedazzlement. A heel should always be happy.
